actually heres a re-write of tigerstar i just came up with
tigerstar’s dad becoming a kittypet is explicit text in the main series. he was judged by many cats for it, and grew up with that burden. he is extra resentful of kittypets for this reason
his motivation is driven by a complex to prove he is a true warrior and better than his father, but no amount of power ever satisfies this. hence his hubris leading to him becoming a monster
he sees a little bit of himself in firepaw at the start, and is initially a little kind to him. in turn, firepaw looks up to him and even sees him as a father figure
but tigerstar feels like firepaw is accepted too easily and has no trouble becoming well-liked and favored, which tigerstar resents. he’s too blinded by his resentment to see that firepaw also was disliked and gained his reputation through determination and helping others
firepaw is far more heartbroken by tigerstar being evil and has a much more intense dynamic with him because of their intial connection
bramblestar faces the same kind of judgement that tigerstar did, especially from firestar, but is able to overcome it and not let it consume him the way it did tigerstar
okay thats all i got just more fleshed out tigerstar motivation beyond “ambitious” and a more interesting dynamic with him and firestar
The tone and the absolute Nihilism of this video terrifies me beyond reason
he did that!
concept: the god of nature in your next made-up pantheon, instead of being another green-wearing, fertile, nurturing, maternal figure, is this mad bastard
This is the voice of a man who has seen the face of god, and was disappointed.
