the way teenagers are presented in media is so fucking funny like u think this is how sixteen year olds speak. do u think they really communicate in dramatic monologues and deep metaphors and references to great literature. half my high school didn’t know what a metaphor was.

I’m a lesbian and somehow I manage to walk down the street and not ogle women I find attractive, or cat call or degrade them, or touch them without permission, or interrupt their daily lives, it’s almost as if I’m treating them like human beings despite my attraction to them. What an insane concept.

omg same

We were arguing about dress code in a meeting at work. And while my department knows I’m queer the other departments did not. As people (men) were saying that women showing skin and wearing tight clothes was distracting. I spoke up finally and said.

“I’m attracted to women.”

Everyone turned and looked at me and I was like “uhhh” so I finished.

“I’m attracted to women and I can still do my job. Regardless of what someone in my class is wearing. I can still teach. So why can’t you?”

The men all stayed silent.

Hey guys I know I don’t post or talk as much as I’d like on here but my sister and I really need some help. See this adorable little guy here:

His name is Elijah and he’s my nephew. He was born with a rare hand deformity and also diagnosed with autism. He had his first surgery last year.

He’s going to need another one now to separate his middle and ring finger in order to help it’s growth. Unfortunately, the insurance isn’t going to cover everything. She’s a single mother with two kids who have special needs. She applied for SSI and disability for Elijah but he was denied because of her income. I would greatly appreciate it if you could donate to the GoFundMe link below and if not, could you please reblog this for others to see. PLEASE AND THANK YOU!
