This is my dog…

I’ve had her since she was a puppy. With her sweet little eyes and constant devotion she’s been a huge part of my family for 10 years!! Grown up right alongside my siblings, has been to every camping trip, she means the world to us.

But then the issues came, a large tumor had grown on her hip. It had gotten so bad my baby girl could hardly walk, let alone play fetch without whinning in pain. With her age we considered the impossible choice of letting it go, but she fought so hard to play every day. She may be old, but her spirit is as stubborn as the day she first came into our lives. So we forked up all the money we could and got her surgery… all the expenses we had.

I thought we had ended my girl’s misery.

But they had messed up and my dog is paying the price. From FORGETTING to give her antibiotics, leaving an empty hole with no drainage, she has had to have two visits in this short week to try and stop an infection that is eating her flesh. Yes HER FLESH.

Now she needs a follow up surgery that’ll cost more money than we can afford. Treatments, to fix THEIR mistakes. And I am furious, upset, and praying she can heal soon despite all that has been thrown her way.

Please help signal boost this and donate anything you can, even a single penny to our cause! My girl deserves to finish the rest of her life pain free, with us, the family that has loved her since the beginning. And I am determined to make that happen!

I hate the heavy importance put on canonmates. I don’t want canonmates. Or at least I don’t want to be friends just because we are or probably are canonmates. Be my friend first. I don’t owe anyone memories. I just want to talk to people with similar experiences and make friends, not spend my time hunting down people I may never find. You can make friends with people who share sources and not be canonmates. And I’m not comfortable with sharing memories in the first place because it’s personal.
