is it just me or does it seem like the erins used to be way better at giving bg/side characters personality, and actual story arcs? brightheart, cinderpelt, and ashfur all got actual stories. berrynose, foxleap, and dustpelt had concrete personalities. but nowadays…who the heck are leafshade? or larksong? or DEWNOSE? they need to give these characters stories too. or at least personalities

Nah you’re right. It’s because they originally weren’t gonna make so many arcs, TPB was supposed to be the only one. So of course they’re gonna out more effort into their characters if it’s the only arc they’re gonna do. Plus there weren’t so many damn cats in TC at that time, so it’s easier to keep track of them all.

But I agree with you, all the old cats in TC need to go but all the newer ones don’t have any personality. So by taking away the old characters we get stuck with all the newer ones that we don’t really care about with no personality.
