Listen if your job is illegally punishing you because of shoplifters, being mad at shoplifters is like being mad at a symptom of I’ the problem. I’m telling you, marginalized people aren’t gonna stop stealing for survival because they CANT.
What you can do instead of spreading guilt inducing tumblr posts is organize at your work, make reports of illegal cuts due to shoplifting, etc.
Because these companies literally have losses in their budget already set aside. It’s nothing they’re not prepared for.
They just want excuses to short you.
If no one stole they’d find ways to short you anyways. Most theft committed is wage theft and similar BY companies.
Like I’m telling you, your self righteous anger would do a lot better being directed towards the powers at be and not poor people stealing.
