More OG Warriors! This time Darkstripe and Yellowfang~ 

Greypaw’s line “Now Darkstripe is neither young, nor pretty!” always stuck with me when I think of Darkstripe. I’ve always pictured him rough around the edges and not the most appealing looking guy out there. I decided to make him a classic tabby because I’m a sucker for classic tabbies. While a lot of warriors have scars as signs of experience or bravery, Darkstripe has lots because he’s a trashy warrior who really pales in comparison to his peers. Aka, he gets his ass handed to him a lot lmao

I love the idea of him and Greystripe being brothers. I feel like Dark was always resentful of Willowpelt for taking another mate after Tawnyspots, and looks down on his younger brother Grey. Tigerclaw as his mentor did nothing to set him on the straight and narrow either, and he ends up idolizing him for his strength. I’ve always thought that Dark had a hardcore crush on Tiger too ahaha

Now for Yellowfang~ She’s gruff and ugly and her fangs poke out of her mouth, but she’s a badass and I love her. I haven’t gotten as much to say about her compared to Darkstripe, but she’s one of my favourites, and is my fave medicine cat. I wanted to make her a fluff monster and relatively ugly, so I hop you guys like her~
