Next Post Ashfur in Twilight was actually a good partner for Squirrelflight. He respected her, was a good friend of hers, she trusted and liked spending time with him. Also, the book pointed out how Squirrel is constantly comparing him to Bramble, who was an a-hole to her through the entire book (and heacted a little ooc). Then Squirrel and Bramble hook up even tho he treated her like garbage. the Erins were trying to show Ash as overprotective, even tho she liked how he was standing up for her at first.
